Generations in Motion Course

The Greenest Fastest Mile & 5K both start on the southbound side of the Los Angeles State Historic Park, just across from the Cargo bar & eatery. The course is flat and fast covering the compact dirt pavement & concrete path.

Event Schedule

You are encouraged to arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to ensure to pick up your bib, t-shirt.


5K Run | Starts 8:30 AM.

Greenest Fastest Mile start will follow after the conclusion of the 5K at approximately 9:15AM
1 Mile Race 9:30 A.M.
Food | 9:30 A.M.
Awards Ceremony | 10:00 A.M.
Featured Entertainment Includes: DJ Ron Gee.


Starting Line Rules

  1. - Make your way to the start line at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your race.
  2. - Slower runners and joggers for both 5K & 1-mile races are suggested they Start in the back or adjust accordingly. There will be fast runners, so please give them way to make it to the front.

Parking

  1. - VIP, Sponsors, Vendor parking will be located on the south side of the park just next to the visitor center. Those who pay for their parking in advance will be provided with a unique parking pass. Enter in the "VIP ENTRANCE" driveway.
  2. - General parking will be the wood chip area just outside the park. Free parking on the public streets.

Metro Access

- Chinatown Metro Station is located just 400 yards from the main venue. Public transit is encouraged.

Packet Pick Up

Opens Saturday 6:30AM | 5K Run Starts 8:30 AM. | Greenest Fastest Mile starts at the conclusion of the 5K
Registration for each race closes 10 minutes prior to each event.
Make sure you arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the start of your race to ensure bibs are picked on time.

WHEELCHAIR PARTICIPANTS (ADA)

Generations in motion is wheelchair friendly, and we encourages people who are limited in their mobility to participate in the event with proper planning . The course is accessible to wheelchairs, and those who are limited in mobility please ensure that you make arrangements to have someone join you to ensure you’re able to make it through the entire route. You are able to take as long as you need and there will be a water station area for you to take breaks. Aztlan Athletics or it’s affiliated foundation are not responsible for any special care needed for participants. Those arrangements will have to be made through your  and are not included in the registration.
